Can I use my own router with O2 fiber? 😤

Anyone know if O2 fiber plans let you use your own router? I’m getting sick of the provided modem/router, it’s trash with more than 4 devices connected.

Tried calling support but didn’t really understand what they were saying in Czech tbh.

Ideally want to use my own mesh setup (Asus). Any expats been thru this?

Been there. You can use your own router if you don’t care about IPTV or VoIP (O2 TV stuff).

If you're just using internet, it's doable — but you might need to clone MAC address and tweak DNS settings. O2 forums (in Czech) have configs for Asus routers, I used Google Translate and muddled through 😅

Worth it tho. My Wi-Fi speeds doubled after ditching their box.
